Working for an interior designer has its benefits: for example the paintings are are perfectly accessorized with cool one-of-a-kind lamps and furniture. This painting is new by yours truly (about 3ft x 4ft ). Its energy comes from the unexpected patterns in the sky and water. Abstraction in art can be more emotional and personal somehow, just like this image to me is personal. I think it has to do with memories, they are never sharp and photographic, but rather open to reinterpretation.

The title is long, but NSCADU is sweet! i spend my foundation year there, right after high school. I live in a flat and walked to school everyday. Here is some work that was inspired by this special kind of Canadian light: The house is from a landscape in New Brunswick: the size is about four feet by six. Oil on canvas.
